Keiki Fun Day(Fundraiser)!

Our first Fundraiser was an absolute blast and such a success!

Our community really chipped in and volunteered their time to offer the keiki and families fun activities!

Thank you to:

*Hanai Collective, our Parent Nonprofit organization- Andres and Matt, for the Hot Sauce Demo made with homegrown peppers & farm grown flowers.

*Auntie Dalissa for helping out in the Art Workshop tent. Watercolors, Butterfly Rings and coloring pages!

*Auntie Katie for reading the ENTIRE time! So much good literature to share!

*Auntie Erica, with Soulcal Knots, for giving a super fine focused tutorial on Macrame keychains!

*Auntie Jennifer, farmer with Thrive Hawaii Family Farm, for helping the keiki plant their very own Pea Plants in a decorated pot!

*Auntie Darcie, Wind River Yoga, for a flowy, fun yoga pose class.

*Auntie Blake, for holding down the Keiki Craft Sale table!

*Uncle Jason and Uncle Jay for lifting dozens of cinder blocks, putting up all the tents, lending a hand where needed, bringing everyone snacks and sparkling water and just being so happy and supportive!

*Farm to Barn Cafe staff for donating the beautiful garden space and the kindest staff to organize with; and of course the yummy Acai bowls that all the keiki ate post event!

Most of all, MAHALO to all the families who came to meet us, ask questions, talk story and enjoy a Saturday morning with The Island Māla Fam!

100% of the funds collected will support the building and growth of our Farm School programs and the physical structures. What a sweet and generous community we are a part of!
